How is the Femto SMILE procedure performed?
The Femto SMILE procedure is performed using a femtosecond laser, which separates thin layers from within the cornea and makes a lateral incision. The doctor then removes this layer through the small opening to correct the vision defects in the eye.
This procedure takes approximately 3 to 10 minutes with Dr. Ahmed Raslan, a consultant in eye and eyelid surgery.
